Hey guys!! I got back from San Diego with my church group yesterday, and it was AMAZING!!!! On the way there, we saw loads of fires, which were pretty cool!! The humidity there was pretty bad because my hair frizzed the whole week, yuck!!! The community services we had to do were split up into three groups; the Foodbank, paint a garage that is part of a church, and fix up a different church. For 3 days, 3 hours each day, I worked on the church that needed the front to be cleaned up and needed a roof fixed. Since we had a lot of people, they didn't have enough jobs so I didn't work a lot. On the 3rd day, I only had to work for an hour and played basketball with a group for a while!! My grouped then helped paint the garage on the 4th day. On the first day, it was really hot and the humidity didn't help. Luckly that was the hottest day, so yay!!! On the second day, we went to the Boardwalk for a scavenger hunt. It was pretty fun because my group and my sister's were trying to out-do each other with the most creative pictures we could take. We ate dinner at a park-beach area, which was awsome because they served a vegiterian-alternative for every meal, so it was pretty easy keeping up with being a vegiterian. Everyone did get sunburned, which sucked!! We went to the beach the next day, which was definately the worst day because I couldn't go swimming due to my foot still hurting from the surgery. I got SOOOOOOO sunburned!!!!! Some people did find a huge piece of seaweed and used it as jumprope, so that was funny!! We also burried a friend into the sand and made him look like a mirmaid!! Haha, we even included the boobs covered with seaweed!!! It was pretty funny!!! The next day we went to a mall, which was really fun hanging out with a huge group of friends!! We went into some electronic store that had a theater advertizing their tv's and speakers. After watching that, we were allowed to ask questions. One of my friends asked what the small box on a desk was, which turned out to be the control station for the speakers and tv. The guy also said that it could store up to 342 CD. So my friend asked, "How does it fit all those CD's in that small box?" It was sooooo funny!!! A guy also got kicked out of victoria's secret, lol!!! The next day we went to the beach again, which turned out to be a lot better because I decided that wearing a sock on my bad foot would solve the problem!! While we were there, we buried another friend into the sand so only his head poked out. A bunch of little kids were around, so they were laughing!! That night was cry night, but it wasn't sad this year. I only had a couple tears, unlike last year. I did figure out that my sister cried as well, so HA!! I did have a friend that was crying a lot because she was going through hard times with her family, so I felt really sad for her. Luckily we did have wonderful dissert that night, so that made me happy!!! The next day we went to see "Get Smart" which is totally funny!!! That night we were given our trip shirts, which is red and says "SD/08 Revolution". Revolution was the theme of the trip, by the way. We also had a ceremony for the graduates, which was a little bit sad because there were a few graduates that were my friends. I'm gonna miss them!!! On Saturday we went to Seaworld, which was AMAZING!!! We saw a bunch of the shows as well as going on the Atlantis ride!! I wanted to go on the rapid ride, but no one else wanted to. Oh well!! The second half of the day we went on a cruise. The boat was BEAUTIFUL!!! It was Victorian style and had a HUGE glass-painting mural on the ceiling!! The dinner wasn't too good because the only thing they had that didn't have any meat was bread and vegiterian pizza that I didn't like. The turkey they served looked SOOOOO GOOD!!! I was suffering when they had it out!! My friends and I talked to the bar lady, which was a really cool person!! We had a cup-tapping competition, which got really intense. Outside, my friend and I terrified my sister and her friend, which was really fun!! We got Ice Cream sundays, which were AWSOME!!!! The boat stopped next to seaworld when their fireworks began, so it was really pretty!! I miss my friends that I hung out with during the trip, but I'm glad that I'm finally home, where my hair doesn't friz, yay!!!!
